CozmoFILM is my very personal film studio. I enjoy taking real lives and reflecting them back to the ones living those lives. As a gift sometimes, or a thank-you-for-being-you, an Ode To something, or a reflection of important work in progress.

When I can find a willing subject and can set aside the time, I savor the embarkation on personal films for them while I find myself in their stories. A bit of a meditation. A bit of plumbing the depths to get at the heart of what I’m capturing, which often says more about me than the subject. The middle part, where I'm lost and awash in disconnected material is the hard, but necessary bit. Coming out the other end of that journey into the dark is usually worth the trouble.

All this sounds pretty selfish. Truth is, one cannot make films without being self-ish. There are a zillion stories and slants. Only the filmmaker can pick. And we pick directions that please and intrigue from as deep a level as possible.

Perhaps we'll meet one day. Perhaps you are a likely candidate for a story together, no matter how big or small.

In any case, thank you for making the effort to come here and get this far in my rant.
